Publicly listed shares, mutual funds or bonds can be donated directly to QCH Foundation and when you make a gift of securities, you will receive a tax receipt for the closing market price on the day they are transferred. Plus, you do not pay any taxes on their capital gains.
In order to take advantage of tax benefits, the donation must be received before December 31 of the current year.
