Hip, hip, hooray!

We are all smiles and truly grateful to our donors for rallying in a big way behind our 2023 #GivingTuesday campaign.

This year marked our BIGGEST and MOST SUCCESSFUL GivingTuesday on record! THANK YOU to our donors, volunteers and presenting sponsor Caivan for investing in Queensway Carleton Hospital. Together, we raised more than $130,000, with those funds being directed towards the purchase of life-saving medical devices and equipment for QCH.

Medical equipment such as MRI machines, vital signs monitors and even digital thermometers are not covered by government funding – they are all purchased through the generosity of our community. Queensway Carleton Hospital provides care to the close 500,000 people – 50% of the population of Ottawa – and now has one of the busiest Emergency Department’s in the entire province.
