Bryan Murray was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, teacher, coach, mentor and friend. He was a generous and involved member of the Ottawa community and in the Ottawa Valley where he grew up. A person, who loved family and hockey, Bryan touched the lives of many.
Unfortunately, as with so many others, Bryan’s life was cut short by cancer. Queensway Carleton Hospital (QCH) provided him with care and treatment.
As a meaningful way to remember him, and celebrate his life, family and friends are raising funds for cancer patient care at QCH. A plaque in Bryan’s honour will also be installed in the Patient Lounge and Waiting Area of the Psychosocial Oncology Unit of the Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Centre at QCH.
The Psychosocial Oncology program provides counselling, nutrition support, physical rehabilitation and emotional support to patients and their families. The Lounge is a bright room on the first floor of the Cancer Centre with access to the patient garden.
Your support would assist in reaching our goal of $60,000. By supporting Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation, you are investing in advanced patient care and healthcare excellence for our community and our loved ones.
On behalf of all those who will benefit, thank you for you kindness and generosity.
