Together, with the incredible support from our amazing community of donors, we raised more than $86,000 in support of upgrading one of our QCH surgical suites with state-of-the-art technology! And, thanks to the $25,000 matching gift from the QCH Medical Staff, that number grows to more than $110,000 – making it our most successful #GivingTuesday ever.
Tens of thousands of patients rely on QCH’s surgical services every year, from simple diagnostic procedures to life-saving emergency care. Funds raised from the 2022 GivingTuesday Campaign will be invested in upgrading the medical equipment used to perform these critical operations.
Having the latest technology in our surgical suites will increase precision and accuracy during surgery, which reduces complications and infection. Additionally, with minimally invasive surgical techniques a patient’s recovery time is faster, with fewer days spent in hospital.
