Our Board of Directors oversee the strategic vision of the organizations. We strive to have our Board reflect the community in which we serve. We are looking to engage community leaders with a background in business, finance, governance, fundraising, marketing and legal. Our Board members follow a strict code of conduct and governance framework.

As a charitable foundation our core objectives are to raise funds for the expansion of healthcare at Queensway Carleton Hospital. Our core fundraising program is Major Gifts and we are looking for individuals who would like to give back to our community by helping to open the doors to contacts in their network through our Ambassadors program.

Our office volunteers have an opportunity for direct donor engagement. We are looking for individuals who are upbeat, friendly, personable, outgoing, thoughtful and compassionate to provide exemplary customer service to our incredible donors by thanking them and acknowledging their contributions. Additionally, our office volunteers provide support to our staff through clerical and other administrative duties. If you are a person who thrives on connecting with others and applying your technology expertise alongside our administrative team, please consider volunteering with QCH Foundation.

For those volunteers who have familiarity and find joy in data and number crunching, we have the role for you! By assisting our data entry team with timely collection, entry and verification of donor information, you are playing a vital role within the organization and helping us drive towards our goals and objectives.

Love telling stories and sharing great content? Excellent! By becoming a volunteer with our communications and marketing team you are helping us shape our narrative for our fundraising campaign and awareness programs. Key must have’s for this role – enthusiasm and a thirst for researching and writing; deadline driven and be open to feedback and guidance; creative and thoughtful.

Do you love dreaming up new events? From booking venues and coordinating deliveries to securing auction items and creating work-back schedules, through our QCH Foundation events you will have the opportunity to work-behind the scenes and help bring our events to life, and all for a great cause!
