NOIR is a four-day festival opening with an upscale Gala and fundraiser event in support of Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation, and continuing for three days of fine art exhibition showcasing 50 professional artists. This year’s theme is “Day of the Dead” and festival programming is being elegantly curated in collaboration with the Mexican Embassy, as well as Ottawa’s Byward Market Day of the Dead Festival. The opening night Gala features a Gastronomic Salon with some of Ottawa’s best restaurants, live performances by classical musicians and folkloric dancers, as well as an exciting Silent Auction with several original artworks donated by NOIR exhibiting artists. There will also be art workshops, an authentic Day of the Dead altar, and more!

If you can’t attend the festival, you can still help support Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation by participating in the silent auction online.
The auction is open to the general public, but delivery is not included. All successful bidders are responsible to pick-up their items. The QCH Foundation will confirm the pick-up instructions following the close of the auction. Auction items will be available to claim at the Gala and the Exhibition.
There are two phases of the silent auction. Please note the closing times of the items when making a bid.
- Phase 1 Bidding opens: October 12, 2023 @ 10:00am EST
- Phase 1 Bidding closes: November 2, 2023 @ 9:30pm EST
Phase 1 items will be claimed at the Gala.
- Phase 2 Bidding opens: October 12, 2023 @ 10:00am EST
- Phase 2 Bidding closes: November 4, 2023 @ 7:30pm EST
If you are the successful winning bidder, you will receive communications on where and when to pick up your item. Although the silent auction is not open yet, items are available to browse with new items being added each week.
