Brookstreet Hotel’s Rock-Solid Support for QCH at Lumière 2024

Brookstreet Hotel showed their rock-solid support of Queensway Carleton Hospital at the annual Lumière Gala Presented by RBC Royal Bank. Together, the sponsors, donors and guests raised close to $125,000 for the top priorities at QCH.

On September 5, 2024, the more than 400 guests wholeheartedly embraced the theme, sporting their favourite band T’s while channeling their inner rock star for the night.

Lumière ROCK was an unforgettable evening of delectable food, rock and roll inspired drinks, live rock performances and a thrilling live auction. The evening closed with an incredible fireworks show. The night was full of energy, generosity, and community spirit.

From the VIP sponsor reception hosted by Terry Matthews (founder and chairman of Wesley Clover International and owner of Brookstreet Hotel) to the rocking live music delivered by Ottawa’s own Rebecca Noelle – the atmosphere was electric!

Guests indulged in gourmet cuisine paired with signature rock-inspired drinks. The live auction, led by auctioneer Ryan Watson, featured incredible items including a luxury trip for two to the Celtic Manor Resort in Wales, which went for a cool $10,500 to Nik Lemieux, owner of financial services company Mirabel Management.

QCH Foundation is incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, sponsored, and supported Lumière ROCK 2024. Together, we rocked the night away and made a lasting impact on healthcare in our community.
