“We gave it a sophisticated new look that’s bright, fresh and crisp. The new website showcases the incredible work being done by the team at QCH and the QCH Foundation.” Joti Bhuller, Design Director, TRUEdotDESIGN
QCHFoundation.ca has a fresh new look thanks to the amazing team at TRUEdotDESIGN.
True to their word, the marketing agency worked its creative magic on the new website, helping QCH Foundation to give them a virtual space to recognize donors and showcase inspiring testimonials.
“We’ve been able to tell the story of QCH Foundation, and how it helps the hospital and contributes to the care that you ultimately receive there,” explains design director Joti Bhuller of TRUEdotDESIGN.
Joti, along with TRUEdotDESIGN account director Ange Brekalo and the design and development teams, invested many hours into the project. The work entailed updating content, creating content blocks, pulling together stories and photographs from the QCH community, and adding subtle website interactions and animations, while also giving the website room to grow with future video content.
“We gave it a sophisticated new look that’s bright, fresh and crisp,” said Joti. “The new website showcases the incredible work being done by the team at QCH and the QCH Foundation.”
Joti said the project heightened her appreciation for the excellent care QCH provides to our community.
“When I was ready to give birth to my eldest child, I think back to how much the quality of healthcare impacted my journey into motherhood,” Joti explains. “Being in a hospital ready to have a baby, I was at my most vulnerable (as majority of patients are) and having the support network of doctors, nurses, and staff helped me gain confidence as a new mother as well as the strength to heal from the birth. The reassurance and genuine care that I was given will always be part of my child’s birth story.”
One of core values of TRUEdotDESIGN, established by company president and founder Shelley True, is about giving back to the community. Working with QCH Foundation on its new website was an example of that, said Joti, who donated, along with her fellow team members, a portion of their time to the project.
“It’s part of the reason why I love working here. When you design for a cause, it’s really cool because you can actually see the physical results of your work. It’s always our pleasure to give back to the community.”
