At a time when many ease their pace, Sue Sallaj Ginn is speeding up.
To mark Queensway Carleton Hospital’s 50th anniversary—and her own milestone year—she’s taking on a powerful challenge: running 50 kilometres to support the hospital she’s proudly served for 15 years. A lifelong runner, Sue is turning her passion into purpose, raising funds to help shape the future of care in her community.
For Sue, this journey is deeply personal. As Chief Planning Officer, she helps guide the hospital’s growth, including a transformational redevelopment that will expand emergency services and add vital capacity for patients. As a mother of three active boys, she’s also showing her family what it means to give back—proving that every step, every effort, and every dollar raised can make a difference.
From her first 10K this season to the many races ahead, Sue is building toward her goal one stride at a time. Along the way, she’s inspiring others to join her—whether by running, donating, or simply believing in the power of community. Because at Queensway Carleton Hospital, the next 50 years start with all of us.
