March 5, 2021: Queensway Carleton gets approval, funding for mental health unit renovations – Ottawa Citizen

The Queensway Carleton Hospital has received provincial approval and $9 million in funding to begin the expansion and rebuilding of its new Mental Health Unit.

The project, set to begin this spring and to be completed in 2023, will involve the renovation of two existing departments and a new two-storey addition, increasing the hospital’s inpatient beds and outpatient mental health services.
