Now more than ever our hospital needs you.
Your thoughtful contributions enable us to treat our patients with the best care — during natural disasters, accidents, acute and long-term illnesses and now for the COVID-19 virus. Your support will ensure our healthcare teams continue to have the equipment and tools they need to care for you, your family, friends, neighbours and our entire community, should you need us.
Your gifts will help us purchase life-saving equipment such as:
VENTILATORS that help people breathe when they cannot breathe adequately on their own. Having enough ventilators allows us to provide life-saving ventilation to patients who need it, every day, 24 hours-a-day.
VITALS SIGNS MONITORS that track and display a patient’s vital signs such as blood pressure, body temperature, heart rate, rhythm and blood oxygen saturation. Having tools that can give healthcare professionals this information quickly and accurately helps ensure efficient, high-quality care.
SMART PUMPS that deliver fluids, such as nutrients, medications and blood into a patient’s body in controlled amounts, at automated intervals. This computerized technology, allows our teams to provide the safest, most accurate and efficient care to our patients.
Your contribution will be put towards this urgently needed equipment and other hospitals priorities to ensure that we can continue to provide the highest level of care possible to all those needing access to our services during COVID-19 and beyond.
All the hospitals in Ottawa are coming together to fight this infectious disease and community members like you are doing your part by physical distancing. You can do even more to help by donating critical funds to our COVID-19 Fund.
