The Hellenic Community of Ottawa is pleased to announce Queensway Carleton Hospital as the new charitable partner and beneficiary of the prestigious Gold Plate Dinner, held annually on the second Tuesday in June at the Hellenic Meeting and Reception Centre. This year’s fundraising dinner, entering its 31st year, will support the Myers Automotive Acute Care of the Elderly (ACE) Unit at Queensway Carleton Hospital.
“We are excited to help fund this initiative which will advance excellence of care for the elderly in our community” said Nicholas Lafkas, President of the Hellenic Community of Ottawa. The Hellenic Community of Ottawa takes great pride in sharing its culture, history, religion and also recognizes its responsibility in supporting the Ottawa community in which we live and work.
“We’re so grateful for our exceptional community who are contributing so that our Hospital continues to meet the healthcare needs of our aging community”, said Melanie Adams, President and CEO of the Queensway Carleton Hospital (QCH) Foundation.
The 31st Annual Gold Plates Dinner takes place Tuesday June 14, 2016 at the Hellenic Meeting and Reception Centre on Prince of Wales Drive. Information and tickets to this evening event available at: goldplatedinner.ca
